About This Place

Le's Family Restaurant, nestled in the heart of Dawson Creek, BC, is a beloved local gem that serves up hearty, comforting classic North American fare with a warm, inviting atmosphere. Whether you're stopping by for a leisurely breakfast or a satisfying lunch, Le's has something to satiate every craving with its thoughtfully crafted menu and generous portions.

The cuisine here brings a nostalgic, homemade touch combined with high-quality ingredients and a menu rich in variety. Breakfast enthusiasts will delight in signature dishes like the Denver Omelette and Eggs Benedict with an Extra Egg, which deliver a perfect balance of fluffy eggs, savory spices, and fresh accompaniments. For those who love handheld breakfast options, the Breakfast Club – a towering double-decker sandwich layered with ham, bacon, eggs, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and cheese – is an indulgent way to start the day. The Breakfast Wrap, stuffed with scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, cheese, hashbrowns, and a touch of smoky chipotle, offers a flavorful, portable alternative.

Come lunchtime, the tempting array of sandwiches and wraps makes it nearly impossible to choose just one. The Clubhouse triple-decker sandwich packs homecooked turkey, bacon, crisp lettuce, and ripe tomato between toasted bread, while the Beef Dip impresses with its tender, sliced sirloin and melted cheese, served alongside a rich au jus for dipping. If you’re in the mood for something uniquely indulgent, the Grilled Reuben — with its tangy sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and savory corned beef on grilled rye bread — delivers on all fronts. Not to be overlooked, the Monte Cristo lends a sweet and savory contrast, dipped in egg and grilled golden to perfection.

Le's also excels in offering delicate, savory crepes, including a luxurious Seafood Crepe filled with crab, shrimp, and cheese, finished with creamy hollandaise, as well as a classic Ham & Cheese Crepe that’s both comforting and satisfying.

The dining atmosphere at Le’s Family Restaurant is cozy and welcoming, characterized by laid-back service with a personal touch. Guests have repeatedly praised the amiable staff and attentive service, especially noting the efforts of servers like Jessica, who make you feel right at home. The hustle and bustle here only add to the charm — making it a perfect spot for families, hospital workers on breaks, or anyone searching for a satisfying meal that won’t disappoint.

Reviewed as the “absolute BEST breakfast” with pancake portions that are famously generous, and with texture and flavors that invite a second helping, Le's is a haven for those who appreciate comfort food done right. Although some guests with gluten sensitivities have noted a minor challenge with the coating on hashbrowns and fries, the overall quality and flavor of the food remain standout features that keep diners coming back.

Whether you crave classic fish & chips, crave a deluxe burger, or want the iconic Le Burger for a taste of something special, Le’s Family Restaurant delivers a slice of culinary nostalgia wrapped in fresh, homemade goodness. This spot in Dawson Creek promises more than just meals — it offers genuine hospitality, heartfelt flavors, and a place where you can truly feel like part of the family.

Great food! My only complaint is the needless coating on hashbrowns and fries that make it a struggle to eat there as someone who is gluten sensitive. My kid's benny breakfast was delish (according to them)!

The absolute BEST breakfast! If you order a pancake, it's at least a foot long, 8 inches wide, and 1/2 inch thick - fluffy and so, so good! Jessica was most gracious and fun! This place is worth eating at, and you won't leave hungry!

Awesome staff, friendly and fantastic tasting food on the menu, been a few times since I've been here working on the hospital and I'm sure I'll be back a bunch before we are done working up here.

Only commenting on the diner, not the hotel - FANTASTIC. In particular, always a great place to go for breakfast. The woman who was taking our orders and running the entire floor alone was phenomenal, and even offered to bring out extra hashbrowns when she noticed I was still hungry. Can't recommend enough if you're looking for a cozy place for a well-made, excellent breakfast. I've been here a few times and they've been consistently great. Easily earned 5/5 stars. Edit: my go-to order is the Eggs Benedict. Love hollandaise sauce and they make it perfectly!

I never got a room. So don't know what the rooms and hotel part of it is like. This is based on restaurant. Service was good. The waitress was friendly and very nice. The food was very good. Homemade. That chef can cook. Will eat there again. Highly recommend . Great breakfast.

Always home cooked meals that are affordable and delicious I have been eating here for over 30 years and never have bad quality, never bad food. Always great service. Had The hangover breakfast the other day. Best hash browns I have ever eaten. Can't wait to go again. Although my waist line doesn't like it. Also you gotta try the home made cinnamon rolls, they are giant and $6 !!
